The benefits of "the study of organizational behavior". How can I advance in my career?

​What is the study of organizational behavior and how can it benefit my career and company? Why seeing an organization as an open system is important for growth. 
           The study of organizational behavior is the study of human behavior in relations to an organization. This study has many benefits for both the individual and the organization. Studying organizational behavior can be a crucial aspect to one's career development, aiding an individual to be an indispensable asset to a company. Studying organizational behavior allows a company to strategically identify issues and address them, creating a far more efficient workplace. Organizational behavior can also help create loyal employees because management takes employee goals and situation into consideration. From a management perspective, understanding an open system allows a manager to make educated decisions that will benefit the company. Companies are always trying to improve their business and this includes their employees. Understanding an organization as an open system allows a manager to see the bigger picture and determine if the company's current state is projected towards or away from company goals. Understanding that the company stretches far beyond one’s professional responsibilities can allow a manager to make changes that benefits the company in multiple areas. Understanding how a company operates, who they operate with and the employees who make it possible is a strategy that companies use to determine the next steps for the over organization. The study of organizational behavior is essential for company and career growth.​
